Kicking off the Paris fashion week, the long awaited Louis Vuitton SS24 collection designed by newly appointed creative director Pharrell Williams is finally here and has smashed expectations.
Pharrell who has achieved it all has gone even further and proven that he truly defines what it means to be a creative. The show which took place on the historic bridge Pont Neuf in Paris represented Pharrell's artistic and creative skills to the fullest.
The show attracted many A-list names such as Beyoncé, Jay-Z, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton and Takashi Murakami all who where seated front row. While some such as Dave and Pusha T made their catwalk debut.
The show consisted of 100 looks many of which seemed to be focused around tailoring. These looks were far from traditional and really emphasised the creativity and thought put behind each design. Some stand out looks featured coats evoking military themes that resemble ghillie suits, all of which where covered in Pharrell's new camouflage named "Damoflauge".
The collection definitely wasn't short on accessories, nearly every look was paired with a either a different bag, sunglasses, hats and more. Each of these accessories were unique and complemented their accompanying looks well, while illustrating a new means of design all of which were quintessentially Pharrell. The timeless classic LV trunk made an appearance engulfed in the "Damoflauge" while being carried on the back of buggy which traversed the catwalk. Accessories such as baseball caps even featured an interesting redesign with the incorporation of pockets along the sides of the hat.
